This question is one of the most frequent when talking with friends about our routine. Almost always, we take extreme care of our face, but we don't pay much attention to our body, except for hair removal! It is important to have a routine for our body skin as well, not only to preserve its elasticity and beauty, but also to have fragrant skin. Cleansing is fundamental, and we must choose non-aggressive products that cleanse the skin without irritating it.
Exfoliation is very important (we talked about it here / read article), as it allows for a more thorough and deep cleansing, especially for areas where the skin thickens more easily such as elbows, heels, and knees.
We have talked about the importance of a post-holiday fitness routine here (read article), but the daily routine is certainly more streamlined also for time reasons. We don't need free hours to take care of our skin properly; just a few extra minutes compared to those needed for a normal shower. For example, we can choose to use an exfoliating product on a different day than when we shampoo, so as not to prolong the time in the shower too much. Apply moisturizer at least 3 times a week, maybe when we shower in the evening, so we can dress immediately without waiting for it to absorb completely.
If we prefer to take a bath and relax for a few more minutes, we can indulge in a light massage with a richer butter.
This is a crucial period because everything starts anew, and we must organize a thousand things; for this reason, it is necessary to plan the time needed to take care of ourselves and relax... sometimes, just 10 minutes are truly enough!
